Sir David Attenborough is a name that has become synonymous with conservation. Reuniting with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Natural History Unit, Attenborough and the BBC have come together once again to follow up their widely successful series, Planet Earth, with Planet Earth II.

Ten years after the first film was released, the second redenition of the documentary follows species from more than 40 different countries over three years — all captured with state-of-the-art cameras.

But the stunning footage isn't the only thing that has nature-lovers talking.

To conclude the film, Attenborough delievers a touching plea urging humans to step up and save the planet. His powerful words have stuck a chord worldwide, sparking the conversation about the need for global conservation.
