Carissa Wasyliw

Carissa Wasyliw is a conservation intern for the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC’s) Cooking Lake Moraine region in Alberta. She is a recent graduate from the University of Alberta, where she earned a bilingual BSc in Environmental and Conservation Sciences. Carissa has recently moved back to her hometown of Leduc to work with NCC after travelling for a few months. When she isn’t out tracking down birds, plants and everything in between, Carissa can be found looking up new places to travel to or curled up with a good book.
