Carly is an ecological restoration student at the University of Victoria, and holds a degree from York University in international studies. Raised in a semi-rural hamlet, rich with forests and wetlands, she moved to Toronto seven years ago. She has jumped right in on and developed new perspectives on urban conservation issues. Carly volunteers her time with LEAF, an urban forestry organization, and lives in the GTA with her partner and two daughters.
Her spare time is mostly spent travelling through unique ecosystems, whether local or across the globe, helping her friends and family explore the wondrous natural world.
