Erica Thompson

Erica Thompson has worked with the Nature Conservancy of Canada since 2002, currently as the national director of conservation engagement. Growing up along the St. Lawrence River greatly impacted Erica’s sense the natural world. Studying geography at Queen’s University and later moving to Haida Gwaii, which led to working with the Gowgaia Institute, greatly contributed to her interest in community-based conservation.

Erica lives within Ontario’s Niagara Escarpment with her son and their dog, Swift.
