Heather Cray

Heather Cray is a PhD candidate and Vanier Scholar at the University of Waterloo. Her dissertation focuses on tallgrass prairie restoration ‘from root to shoot’, including exotic earthworms, soils, microbes, plants and pollinators.

In her spare time, Heather loves trail riding, hiking, doing science outreach and volunteering at a local horse farm where she’s nicknamed ‘the Biology Lady’.
