Helen Kim is the manager of gift and database administration in the National Finance Department of the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in Toronto. Born in Seoul, Korea she majored in English Literature, lived in different countries when young, worked many years as a money market dealer, travelled many places and decided to come to Canada because she was attracted by the majestic landscapes of Alberta and British Columbia that were captured on calendars.

After staying at NCC’s Sandpiper’s Cottage with her family at Johnson’s Mills not too long after she started working at NCC as development assistant, NCC developed a soft spot for Canada's Atlantic provinces. She makes an effort to spend time for nature with her two daughters in her home province of Ontario.
