Julie Wood

Julie Wood joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in early 2008, after a 25-year career in finance that allowed her to work in many countries around the world.  After having lived on four different continents, she is fond of pointing out that Canada is the only country that she chose to return to. Her decision to become a Canadian citizen was influenced in part by her appreciation of the natural wilderness that is still so accessible in Canada.

As the Vice-president, Corporate, Julie heads up the corporate services team in NCC. Julie was educated in Europe, and has post-graduate qualifications from the London Business School, the Association of Corporate Treasurers and the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
