Kate Cranney

Kate Cranney

Kate Cranney is a science communicator and artist from Australia. Kate grew up on an isolated farm in outback Australia, and has an irrational love of weevils, hawkmoths and most members of the Class Insecta. She has worked with women’s ranger groups in the Solomon Islands, with scientists in the deserts of inland Australia and with Indigenous rangers in the Torres Strait archipelago. Kate recently completely an international fellowship on creative communications, visiting many groups including the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
