Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Katy Fulton grew up hiking in the forest and hunting for  waterfalls, so it’s no surprise she’s passionate about conserving natural areas. Her interests in the natural world led to the completion of a geography degree at the University of British Columbia (UBC), and more recently a post-graduate integrated watershed management certificate also from UBC.

Katy has always kept her feet wet, growing up on an island, raft guiding for four years in the Northwest Territories and the Yukon. Working on wetland restoration has always kept her close to water.
