Lisa Maskus is the regional program coordinator for the Manitoba Region of the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). She started working at NCC as an intern in 2011. Prior to working with NCC, Lisa conducted research for the Natural Resource Institute/Manitoba Habitat Heritage Corporation and the Government of Manitoba, invasive species control with the Manitoba Naturalist Society, and interned on several vegetable and flower market gardens in Manitoba and Ontario. Lisa graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in environmental studies from the University of Winnipeg.

When Lisa isn't working she is typically found close to her home in southeast Manitoba growing veggies and flowers, adventuring down the Rat River, biking with her dog, Kesey, reading non-fiction, birdwatching, swimming laps or learning how to longboard.
