Michelle Dano is the Conservation Volunteer Event Leader at NCC. She joined the NCC Saskatchewan team this May.
She participates in multiple sectors of the region including monitoring, mapping, community engagement and development. Michelle has just finished her B.Sc Biology with a specialization in Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour from the University of Ottawa. Most of her previous work experience was under a Species at Risk biologist with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry in Ontario.
Growing up in Bancroft, Ontario she has learned to appreciate wilderness and works to protect it.
Her interests include camping, hiking, paddling, running and travel.
