For the last ten years, I’ve been working with residents and volunteers — having a great time restoring habitats and improving water quality in Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority as the Healthy Waters coordinator.
My experience spans doing watershed stewardship; to wetland restoration in Hamilton Harbour; to chasing flying squirrels for a population assessment in Pelee National Park; to bringing new provincial parks online in northern Ontario; to being an environmental officer with the MOEE; to radio-tracking elk in the Kenora District of Northern Ontario; and working to promote eco-tourism in Belize.

Educational background includes a BSc in Environmental Science program from Guelph University and a MSc in Watershed Ecosystems program from Trent University — where I did sensitivity and uncertainty analysis on the CANWET watershed nutrient loading model, to see the benefits of implementing best management practices in Lake Simcoe.
