  • Each fox that is born here, as well as getting sampled for DNA, and tattooed (very fashionable nowadays), also get a name. The letter the name begins with, as in E for Epiphany, is the same for every cub born that year. Cubs arriving in the the year following  get an F as in Frazier, Fiddledede, Francis, etc. (Photo by Catriona Matheson, Cochrane Ecological Institute)
