The Ecological Gifts Program Land Acquisition Support Fund

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is pleased to announce a new round of the Ecological Gifts Program Land Acquisition Support Fund (2018-2019).

This fund is designed to reimburse Ecological Gift Program recipients for eligible expenses that occurred between October 26, 2018 and February 28, 2019 (inclusive) for ecological gifts for which a Statement of Fair Market Value has been issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada. If a Statement of Fair Market Value has not yet been issued, a Certificate of Ecologically Sensitive Land is required (or in Quebec, a Visa fiscal issued by the Government of Quebec). Eligible recipients will be awarded funds on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Ecological Gifts Program Land Acquisition Support Fund (EGP LASF) is a program undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada through the federal Department of Environment and Climate Change. Over the last several years, NCC has awarded nearly $270,000 to a total of 19 conservation organizations under the EGP LASF Program.

Interested in applying to the EGP LASF? Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Review program eligibility and requirements (below) before submitting an application form.

Step 2: If your organization is eligible, submit an application form online using the link below to NCC’s online platform. The platform allows you to save the application form at any point in time and come back to it at a later date. If you have used this online platform for other NCC-administered funding programs (e.g. the OQO Program), you can use the same username and password. All submissions must be submitted via the online process. Application forms received by way of mail or email will not be considered. The deadline for application form submissions is February 28, 2019 (5:00 pm EST).
