The Ecological Gifts Program Land Acquisition Support Fund

Please note that applications for the 2017-2018 round of the EGP Land Acquisition Support Fund Program are now closed, as all of the funds have been allocated. At this point in time, there are no additional funds available for any additional rounds.

The Ecological Gifts Program Land Acquisition Support Fund (EGP LASF) was a Program that was undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada through the Federal Department of the Environment. The EGP LASF was designed to support the reimbursement of costs incurred by Eligible Recipients for completed Ecological Gifts for which a Statement of Fair Market Value had been issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada. Eligible Recipients were awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and organizations were limited to a maximum award of $15,000 per round.

Over the last three years, NCC has awarded nearly $270,000 to a total of 19 different land trusts across five provinces under the EGP LASF Program.
