Join the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) for an introduction to understanding and living with beavers, led by Norine Ambrose of Cows & Fish, followed by a free lunch. 

Topics include:

  • Beaver basics ecology, natural history, role in watersheds
  • Challenges issues, management, options and alternatives
  • Case studies how others are dealing and living with beavers
  • Weather permitting field site visit to view local pond leveler (please dress appropriately)
