Get in the festive spirit. Shop at a local holiday market and support the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) by picking up your holiday tree at the same time!

In conjunction with the Christmas Holiday Craft Show & Market, NCC will have blue spruce Christmas trees* available for pickup by donation. Although cutting down trees may seem counter-intuitive to conservation, these blue spruce trees are a non-native species to Alberta and have been removed by Conservation Volunteers from one of our properties in the Red Deer River Natural Area, as part of the naturalization plan for that property.

Look for us in the parking lot outside of the Baymont Inns & Suites in downtown Red Deer. A limited number of trees are available, so come early to avoid disappointment. We look forward to seeing you there!
