Emilie Brien

Emilie Brien is the natural area manager for the Castle-Crowsnest Watershed. She looks after the projects owned by the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in the Castle-Crowsnest Watershed, in and around the municipality of Crowsnest Pass, Alberta.

Emilie joined NCC in February 2019. She completed a three-year college program in wildlife management and worked as an environmental consultant in Quebec, Labrador, British Columbia and Alberta for over a dozen years.

Emilie’s hobbies include snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, camping, cross-country skiing and boxing. She has a soft spot for all species of bats.
