What is your position at the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC)?

Regional support coordinator, BC Region

Where do you work?

Victoria, BC

How did you come to join the NCC team?

I applied for this position after completing an administrative contract with an environmental consulting company. I was lucky enough to be selected and joined NCC's BC team in the spring of 2016.

What is your educational background and previous experience?

I have a BA with a double major in environmental studies and anthropology from the University of Victoria. I have been fortunate to have a variety of office and field experiences.

What are you hoping to achieve through your work at NCC?

I am thrilled to be part of an organization that contributes to the conservation of Canada’s natural landscapes and species.

Describe a typical day at work.

I provide general office management, serve as secretariat to the BC Regional Board, and provide support to all the conservation programs and offices across the province.

What are your hobbies/interests outside work?

Cooking with friends, yoga, dance, camp fires, lake swimming, writing, hiking, skiing and always exploring.
