As a GIS and conservation planner, I do mapping and geographic analysis for the BC Region.
Where do you work?
I am based out of the Victoria office.
What is your educational background and previous experience?
I have a master’s degree in geography and previously worked for an environmental consulting company.
What are you hoping to achieve through your work at NCC?
I want to grow the quality of our mapping and see it further enhance NCC’s work. Maps contribute to all stages of the conservation process, from acquisition to the continued stewardship of the land. I hope people will find maps helpful and will better understand what we are doing by looking at them.

The tasks are constantly changing but I am always at my desk either madly making maps or answering geographical questions for my coworkers.
What are your hobbies/interests outside work?
Soccer and my kids!
