Each summer the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) welcomes conservation interns to our team to help steward our conservation lands. The interns are without exception an enthusiastic group.

As their four-month adventure approaches its end, our 2014 interns took a moment to share some images and reflections on their time in the field with the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

Their images show the wide range of natural spaces they were lucky enough to visit over the summer. From the Salish Sea to the Central Coast, the Chilcotin, Southern Interior and the Kootenays, these eight intrepid students of conservation touched almost every type of ecosystem that this province has to offer. And judging from their enthusiasm and appreciation for all that they saw and experienced, this won't be the last time they get their hands dirty in the name of work (and play).
