Tall Grass Prairie Stargazing Party

On Saturday, April 27, join the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) to take in the night skies and learn about the cosmos from experts.

Learn about the Dark Sky Preserve designation for the Tall Grass Prairie Preserve and why darkness is important for nature, and for people.

Directions

The interpretive centre is located in southeast Manitoba, approximately 80 kilometres south of Winnipeg, on Highway 59.

  • From Highway 59, travel east seven kilometres on Highway 201, passing through the community of Stuartburn.
  • Turn north on Road 32 East and follow the signs to the centre.
