Office and Communications Manager
Christine Chilton is the office and communications manager for the Manitoba Region of the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). Although she grew up in rural Manitoba, Christine is now a city-dweller who's very active and passionate about her community. This is evidenced by her participation as the communications director for the Sustainable South Osborne Community Cooperative, where she spends her spare time promoting sustainable, local food systems, community engagement and simplified living. Christine's education background is in women and gender studies with the University of Winnipeg.
In her off-time, Christine can be found hanging out on her front porch with her husband and two children (and probably a few neighbours), gardening or trying to cram in the last chapter of a book in time for book club. She also loves spending time with family and friends at her cabin in the Interlake.
