Assistant Conservation Biologist
Rebekah Neufeld is an assistant conservation biologist for the Nature Conservancy of Canada's Manitoba Region. She graduated from Brandon University with a BSc in environmental science and a major in botany, and immediatley began working at NCC as a conservation intern in 2011. She has past experience conducting field research in Churchill and worked as a research assistant at Brandon University.
Rebekah is involved in various stewardship and science activities in south western Manitoba, including conducting baseline inventories, writing property management plans, coordinating conservation volunteer events, implementing effectiveness monitoring and managing natural area-based science initiatives.
