Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst
Stephen has worked for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) for the last five years as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst for the Manitoba Region. He first joined NCC as a conservation intern and later transitioned into a full-time analyst.
As a graduate of the Environmental Studies program at the University of Winnipeg, Stephen comes to NCC with a background in forestry and a strong knowledge of the use of GIS in conservation science. His work primarily focuses on the mapping of conservation projects and building tools for field staff. Stephen has also received training and certification in the monitoring and control of invasive species.
When he's not in the office, you'll find Stephen touring NCC's many natural areas on his bicycle or spending weekends at the cottage with his family.
