Best times to visit the Johnson's Mills Shorebird Interpretive Centre

We hope you will visit our centre near Moncton this summer. We are located at 2724 Route 935 near Moncton, NB. Make sure you time your visit to the high tide, which changes every day (please check the tide table below).
The best time to view shorebirds is around high tide — from two hours before high tide until two hours after. We encourage our visitors to stay off the beach at high tide, when shorebirds are vulnerable. The shorebirds are easily seen from our viewing area when the tide is at its highest.
For more information call 506-379-6347.
Admission is by donation, all contributions are greatly appreciated.
The interpretive centre closes for the season, beginning September 6. Access to the shorebird reserve and the observation deck is still available. For high tide times, please visit Environment Canada's Tide Times for Peck's Point, a site very close to Johnson's Mills.
