Come lend a hand! The Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC's) Conservation Volunteers (CV) program engages people in conserving biodiversity, while providing a meaningful and educational experience in ecologically significant natural areas.

Each CV event is designed to contribute to the long-term health of NCC’s sites, while volunteers accomplish priority conservation work alongside NCC’s professional staff.

Conservation Volunteers events take place on properties of the Nature Conservancy of Canada in different parts of the Atlantic provinces. We need volunteers from the community to sign up to participate in activities such as beach clean-ups, bird counts, trail maintenance, invasive plant removals, beach grass planting and so much more!

Am interested if anything is happening in Cape Breton...especially interested in IUCN 1a Sanctuary status...does any place in CB have this? Does not seem so.
