Amanda Quarmby-Bennett is the acting director of development for the Atlantic region. Amanda joined Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC's) Atlantic team in 2017. Whether she’s meeting with partners, showing a new nature reserve to donors or working on the next proposal, she loves the fact there’s no typical day at NCC.

Amanda is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and specializes in corporate marketing agreements, gifts of securities and planned giving. Prior to joining NCC, Amanda worked as a fundraiser for family support and health charities.

When she’s not working, Amanda loves to spend time with her family and their three rescue cats. Amanda enjoys hiking, camping, biking, sailing and volunteering her time as a scout leader.
