Family Nature Day
Join us to explore one of Toronto’s best kept natural secrets at SC Johnson and the Ontario Region of the Nature Conservancy of Canada's (NCC's) Family Nature Day — a FREE family event at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto!
Bring your family out to spend time together in nature. Learn more about NCC's work and our exciting new partnership with SC Johnson. With guided trail tours, hands-on learning experiences, up-close animal encounters and interactive conservation activities, get ready to have some fun!
This event will run rain or shine! The main event is held under a covered pavilion in the Holcim Gallery & Koerner Gardens.
When: Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Evergreen Brick Works, 550 Bayview Avenue, Toronto M4W 3X8
Details: Parking available on-site and shuttle buses run from Broadview Station

Visitors are invited to participate in a number of FREE family-friendly activities, including:
- Rocky road adventure: Be a rock star and go on a guided nature hike and learn cool facts about geology.
- Bird quest: Go on a birding adventure and learn more about the birds that live right in your own backyard.
- Beaks, bills and noses: Get up close and personal with native bird species of Ontario. Get your picture taken with baby barn owls!
- Reptile and amphibian safari: Learn more about why these critters are a cool part of our ecosystem.
