“I found a very clear way to express my interest in protecting nature, through the Nature Conservancy of Canada,” said Laurier Beaudoin, an outdoor enthusiast who understands the ecological value of land in Quebec. He says that he has found the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) to be an organization that not only meets but exceeds his initial expectations.

Laurier first decided to include NCC in his will as a major beneficiary, and went on to become a volunteer and key partner in strategic community consultations. Thanks to his extensive experience as a mediator, in Canada and abroad, he has become a valuable resource, especially in implementing strategic plans in cooperation with different partners to ensure that the areas protected by NCC are managed in the best possible way.

“I appreciate NCC staff’s enthusiasm and professionalism when I meet with them in my capacity as a volunteer. This has reinforced my decision to support their fundraising campaign with a contribution over five years, in addition to the money I will leave in my will. Now, I’m encouraging all my friends to add their voices and contributions to support the organization and its projects.”
