Stewardship coordinator

Caroline Tanguay has been a stewardship coordinator at the Nature Conservanc of Canada in Quebec since 2012. She has bachelor's and master's degrees in biology from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Drawing on her extensive experience in the field, Caroline is mainly involved in conducting animal and plant inventories, developing property management plans, interpretive panels and information leaflets, preparing funding applications and organizing stewardship activities. She also helps train interns and coordinates volunteer events.

Caroline is also involved with the teams working on recovery of Cazaville dunes flora and American ginseng.

Caroline’s love of exploration turns every trip into an appreciation of biodiversity. She enjoys discovering local plants and animals while travelling through the natural environments that she visits, always coming away with wonderful memories and beautiful photographs.
