Mount Hereford, in the heart of the White Mountains, is mainly known for its beautiful landscapes and its accessibility to the public. In accordance with the wishes of the donors of this valuable property, a range of outdoor activities are available. The activities are managed by local organizations and overseen by Forêt Hereford Inc., an NCC partner in this conservation project.

The property is home to several at-risk animal and plant species, such as the spring salamander and the Canada warbler, two species that are threatened in Canada. The extensive territory is also a favourable habitat for large mammals, such as moose, white-tailed deer and black bear.

Information on activities, access points and trail maps can be found at http://www.forethereford.org/fr/acces/index.php.
