Canada’s leading luxury fine jewelry brand since 1879 has partnered with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) to support wild bee habitat conservation.
On this year’s Earth Day, April 22, Birks will be launching Birks Bee Chic For a Cause. The buzzworthy Bee Chic For a Cause bracelet features an elegant silver charm in the shape of a honeycomb, bringing awareness to at-risk bee colonies and their importance to the health of Canada’s iconic landscapes.

Birks is inspired by the beauty of Canadian nature, and their eternal love for luxury jewelry is deeply rooted in their commitment to the environment, sustainability and social responsibility. This partnership is Birks' newest initiative to support the preservation and protection of Canadian bees.
Canada has an amazing diversity of wild bees. Over 780 different native wild bee species have been documented. But many of Canada’s wild bees are at risk. Habitat loss, climate change and environmental pollutants are decreasing their numbers and diversity.
Birks is donating 100 per cent of the proceeds from Birks Bee Chic For a Cause bracelet to NCC.* These proceeds will help protect habitat that is critical to helping protect Canada’s wild bee populations.
