Human Resources Coordinator - Toronto, Ontario

Purpose and General Description

We are looking for an energetic, organized, customer-focused HR generalist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic go-getter to gain valuable HR experience in a growing environmental non-profit organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support our internship program and administer our new HR system (ADP Workforce Now), as well as assisting the team with all facets of human resources including recruitment, payroll and benefits, health and safety, service recognition and training as well as other HR related administrative duties.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • College Diploma or University Degree in Business or Human Resources.
  • Certificate in Human Resources Management considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 2- 3 years administrative experience working in Human Resources.
  • Extremely strong customer service orientation
  • Tech savvy with proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to set and re-set priorities as needed.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.
