How to Help

Canada's natural heritage is disappearing at an alarming rate. Our country may be vast, but the reality is that many of our defining landscapes are in grave danger, as are the native plants and animals that call them home. The Nature Conservancy of Canada's (NCC's) approach to this challenge is to take immediate and direct action to acquire ecologically significant land through purchase, donation or conservation easement and to ensure high standards of land stewardship over the long term.

We need your help!

As you'll see on the navigation to the left of this page, there are many ways to help. Please choose what would be most appropriate for you.

If you prefer to donate by cheque, please make the cheque payable to "The Nature Conservancy of Canada," and mail it to:

Nature Conservancy of Canada
400-36 Eglinton Avenue West
Toronto, Ontario M4R 1A1

To make a donation by telephone, please call us toll-free at 1-800-465-0029.

If you wish to make a single gift, click here.

You will receive an electronic receipt for income tax purposes when you make your donation, and with gifts of $20 or more, you will receive three issues of our newsletter, The Ark.

Our charitable registration number is 11924 6544 RR0001.

Our legal name is The Nature Conservancy of Canada.

NCC works hard to ensure the best value for supporters’ dollars. Over the past five years we have spent less than 15 percent of donated funds on administration and fundraising. This means more than 85 cents of your dollar goes directly to the protection of Canada’s nature.

For more information on how NCC allocates its funds, our annual report is available as a downloadable PDF on our publications page.
