Conservation Volunteers play a critical role in the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s work to protect biological diversity. On-the-ground volunteer action from people like you is contributing to a conservation legacy in some of Canada’s most significant natural areas.
Our volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds, bringing valuable experience and knowledge to work sites such as construction skills for building boardwalks and bridges and biological skills for plant and animal surveys. For most projects, all you need is energy and enthusiasm for the work at hand. NCC doesn’t just work with individuals - we forge partnerships with a variety of organizations including universities and colleges, local naturalist and conservation clubs, corporations and First Nations. Working together, our community will continue to care for Canada’s special natural places.
