Amy Whitear

Amy is the conservation science specialist at Ontario Nature. She grew up in coastal British Columbia, falling in love with nature through exploration of the temperate rain forest. Amy holds a BSc. Zoology from the University of Toronto and a MSc. in Zoo Conservation Biology from the University of Plymouth. She has dedicated her career to researching at-risk populations of snakes, turtles and birds, both in Canada and internationally.
