Lauren Bell

Lauren is the education and community outreach coordinator at the Invasive Species Centre (ISC). Lauren comes to the ISC from Carleton University, and completed a portion of her undergrad at Stirling University Institute of Aquaculture, in Scotland. Lauren runs the Early Detection and Rapid Response Network, a citizen-science based program aimed at engaging communities in participatory science-based initiatives. She currently sits as the Canadian representative on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Invasive Plant Network. Lauren has over six years of previous experience working in the environmental non-profit sector.
