Research Scientist, Botany
Canadian Museum of Nature
Jeff studies plant biodiversity to understand how species are related to each other, where they are found in the world, and how their appearances and DNA distinguish them. In particular, his research focuses on grasses and plants from the Canadian Arctic, a place that is undergoing great environmental change. Jeff regularly conducts fieldwork and makes extensive field collections that are added to the National Herbarium of Canada at the Canadian Museum of Nature.
