Virtual event troubleshooting
The Nature Conservancy of Canada uses the Microsoft Teams platform to host our virtual events. If you are having trouble accessing the livestream, please try these troubleshooting tips:
Watching from a mobile device?
You will need to download the MS Teams app from your app store (available for Apple and Android products).
Watching from a laptop or desktop computer?
Ensure you are selecting the correct options in your browser to view the livestream event. Please also ensure you are using any browser except Internet Explorer.
After clicking the "join the live event" link in your email, the following screen will appear in your browser (if you don't already have Teams). Select the "watch on the web instead" option.
On the next screen, select "join anonymously" and you will be directed to the livestream of the event.
Can't hear anything or see the presentation moving forward on the screen?
- Check that the play/pause button on the bottom left-hand side of your screen is in "play" mode.
- Check that you have enabled third-party cookies in your browser to watch the livestream.

Check your spam and junk folders if they are not appearing in your inbox.
