Trek into Blind Canyon
July 20, 2022Twin Butte, AB
9:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m
Journey to the Waterton Park Front and enjoy a stunning hike into Blind Canyon and help battle invasive weeds while you are at it!
In partnership with the Castle Crown and Wilderness Coalition, we will be embarking on our 4th annual volunteer-powered weed pull at an old farm site in the front ranges of Blind Canyon. We'll be targetting several restricted and noxious weeds, including burdock. This is a great opportunity to practice your plant identification skills and prevent the spread of invasive weeds. Note: this event will include a 5km round trip hike with some elevation gain.
