Wagner Natural Area (detailed directions given after registration)

9 a.m.–12 p.m.

Wagner Natural Area is home to a variety of plant species, including goldenrod, yarrow and bluebell. Since these native species are often in competition with invasive weeds, it is up to us to help remove their competitors. We will be targeting and removing creeping thistle, which will be dug up, bagged and taken off the property. Pulling invasive plants encourages biodiversity and provides us with an opportunity to make a positive change, all while honing our identification skills and educating ourselves about the land.  

Fitness	Toilet
Moderate fitness level required.	There are no toilets on site.

Tools	Food
All tools will be provided by NCC.	Water and snacks will be provided.
