Golden Ranches, AB

Lindbrook, AB
9:30 a.m - 3:30 p.m

Join us and be part of the stewardship of a multi-year restoration project! Volunteers will be tasked with clipping flower-heads mainly from the common tansy plant to assist with controlling the spread of invasive species on the Golden Ranches restoration site. Invasive species management is one of the most important management actions when maintaining a restoration site because invasive species can outcompete the native vegetation planted on the site.

While you enjoy your lunch break, NCC staff will share insights about ongoing restoration projects happening within the Beaver Hills Biosphere. Your help at this event contributes to NCC's conservation legacy that Albertans can be proud of!
