Friends of NCC – Volunteer Training Edmonton

In light of the current situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and in an abundance of caution, all in-person events, including Conservation Volunteers, are postponed for the remainder of 2020. Watch this space for more information.

Are you outgoing? Do you love meeting people and sharing your passion for nature? If so, we invite you to become a Friend of NCC – Outreach Ambassador!

If you are interested in volunteering for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) but can’t seem to make it to our field-based conservation volunteer events, this is a great opportunity to get more engaged in our work. With limited staff resources, NCC Alberta staff can’t always make it to all the amazing partner and community events that happen across Alberta. Our hope is to train some friendly, outgoing volunteers to independently host NCC info booths at a variety of events throughout the year, increase awareness about NCC and connect people to our conservation work in Alberta.
