Suzanne Marechal

Suzanne Marechal is the manager of conservation planning and spatial analysis for the Nature Conservancy of Canada in Alberta. She has both a B.Sc. in ecology and applied bachelor’s in geographic information systems (GIS).

Her broad career path has exposed her to work in the oil and gas, municipal and environmental sectors. She enjoys working closely with others in the Alberta GIS team, other NCC teams and strategic partners, embracing the power of spatial technology, to optimize delivery and accelerate conservation.

An outdoor enthusiast with a life-long passion for exploring and preserving natural spaces, Suzanne is pleased to be part of the Nature Conservancy of Canada Alberta GIS team since 2018.
