Since 2012, the Golden Glove has been awarded annually to the volunteer who takes part in the most Conservation Volunteers (CV) events in Alberta over the course of the year.
This year is very special as we have the honour of awarding the Golden Glove to two of our dedicated Conservation Volunteers: Rosalle Pinske and Wendy Schilling, who each attended nine CV events.

Rosalle began volunteering with the Conservation Volunteers program in 2015. Since then, she has donated her time to over 25 volunteer projects. Her humour and enthusiasm have become an essential part of the volunteer team. Rosalle’s passion for nature shines through in her enthusiasm to jump into any task thrown her way.
This is the second year in a row that Wendy has been awarded the Golden Glove. Since she began volunteering with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in 2016, Wendy has participated in over 25 volunteer events. She quickly become an expert at all NCC volunteer tasks. From barbed wire rolling to willow staking, Wendy takes on any task with a big smile and incredible positivity.
The Conservation Volunteers program engages Canadians of all ages in NCC’s hands-on conservation efforts across the country. If you are interested in getting involved, visit the Conservation Volunteers page to learn more about upcoming events.
