How did you come to join the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC)?

I have been working within the charitable sector for over 15 years. My recent career change had me searching for an organization whose mission and values aligned with my own.

What is your educational background and previous experience?

I have a bachelor of arts diploma in business administration and a Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation.

What are you hoping to achieve through your work at NCC?

To be a part of something so important as conserving and stewarding our landscape for our children and their children going forward.

Describe a typical day at work.

There is no “typical“ day at work! From requests from staff to assist in completion of donor reports and proposals, to contributing to project securement budgets, monitoring project expenses against donor funding, a day in the office is always varied. I have even had the opportunity to assist in invasive plant removal!

What are your hobbies/interests outside work?

I love the outdoors and spending time with my kids... from walking, hiking, kayaking and enjoying our beautiful beaches in BC.
