Bradley Kennedy

Conservation Biologist

Bradley Kennedy is a conservation biologist for the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC’s) Manitoba Region, with over a decade of field experience.

Bradley was a conservation intern with NCC in 2009 and 2010, while completing his master of environment degree at the University of Manitoba. After graduating, he spent several years with a private environmental consulting firm conducting biological surveys and monitoring for a variety of infrastructure projects throughout the prairie provinces, including oil and gas pipelines, hydro-electric transmission lines, road developments, and mining sites. His passion for nature conservation brought him back to NCC, where he has been working with the stewardship team since 2019.

When not at work, Bradley likes to stay active and enjoy nature, so you are likely to find him out hiking, biking, canoeing, swimming or snowshoeing. Bradley is also passionate about food. He is an avid gardener and cook, and tries to support local farmers by purchasing from them directly as much as possible.
