Natural Area Coordinator
Josh Dillabough is a natural area coordinator in the Nature Conservancy of Canada's Manitoba Region, where he coordinates the delivery of the Assiniboine Delta, Oak Lakes Sandhills and Wetlands, West Souris Mixed-grass Prairie and Souris River Valley Natural Area Conservation Plans. His work includes protecting rare species and habitats, and securing and managing properties in southwestern Manitoba.
You can find Josh looking for properties with rare birds, plants and reptiles, or conducting habitat management, such as prescribed fires and invasive species control. But most likely you will find him chained to his desk replying to emails, reports and other non-fun office activities.
Josh is a lover of nature and all the wild others that inhabit it, from the smallest to the tastiest. He and his wife are the proud humans of Loala, a five-pound tea-cup yorkie that runs the household.
