Science Manager (Acting)
Rebekah Neufeld is the acting science manager for the Nature Conservancy of Canada's (NCC's) Manitoba Region. She graduated from Brandon University with a BSc in environmental science and a major in botany, and immediately began working at NCC as a conservation intern in 2011. She has past experience conducting field research in Churchill and worked as a research assistant at Brandon University.
Rebekah is involved in various stewardship and science activities in southwestern Manitoba, including conducting baseline inventories, writing property management plans, coordinating Conservation Volunteers events, implementing effectiveness monitoring and managing natural area-based science initiatives.
