Jennifer White has been with the Nature Conservancy of Canada since 2008, working on a large variety of securement and stewardship projects. As the community engagement coordinator for the Atlantic Region, she guides the region’s Atlantic Regional Volunteer program and community engagement initiatives.

Jennifer has a keen interest in conservation behaviour and in involving people in community-led solutions to conservation problems. In 2020, she completed the Conservation Coaches Network program and became a certified conservation standards coach. She is currently working with several conservation partners to develop community-led conservation plans in coastal New Brunswick and support positive local action for conservation.

Jennifer graduated from New Brunswick Community College with a diploma in environmental technology and the University of New Brunswick with a bachelor of science degree in biology. She is currently undertaking a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies (biology/psychology), focusing on the study of animal behaviour.

Jennifer lives near Fredericton with her partner, Jeff, two active and amazing boys, and several beloved pets.
